Jack The Ripper is the original True Crime superstar, VR is a gaming juggernaut and sex always sells. For these reasons and more it seems that Quadrant, the new horror sci-fi thriller from Charles Band’s Pulp Noir production label is a timely tale of murderous tendencies and crimson soaked tender flesh. For those who did not grow up in the video rental store era, it’s hard to describe how omnipresent Charles Band’s output through Empire International Pictures was on the shelves in the 80’s. He produced and distributed horror films like Re-Animator, Dolls, Ghoulies II and Sorority Babes In The […]

I saw Quadrant last night and it was okay. I'm not a huge horror fan, but I thought the idea was interesting. The VR stuff was pretty cool, but I found the whole Jack the Ripper thing a bit creepy. The actress who played Erin was pretty good, though. Overall, it was a decent movie, but I wouldn't say it's a must-see.

I was really hoping Quadrant would be a good mystery movie. I love true crime stories, and I thought the Jack the Ripper angle was interesting. Unfortunately, the movie didn't really deliver on that front. It was more of a horror film than a mystery, and I found the plot a bit predictable. Still, it was a decent watch, and I'm glad I checked it out.

The VR concept was fascinating, and it got me thinking about the potential dangers of technology.

VR, huh? That sounds interesting. I'm always curious about new technology. I might check out Quadrant, but I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for a horror movie right now.

I'm excited to watch Quadrant. I love horror movies, and I think this one sounds really interesting. I can't wait to see it.

Charles Band has been a constant in my horror fandom, and Quadrant seems like another solid entry in his long list of cult favorites. What really stands out for me is the nostalgia factor. I grew up watching Puppet Master and Trancers, so seeing Band continue to innovate within the low-budget horror realm is something I deeply appreciate. His ability to stretch budgets to their limits while still delivering entertaining content is nothing short of remarkable. The premise of Quadrant—mixing VR with serial killer fantasies—is both modern and classic Band. I think the idea of exploring the dangerous potential of VR, especially when it comes to dark, violent desires, taps into something genuinely unsettling. Sure, it sounds like the film has some flaws, but that's part of the charm for me.

I’m pretty indifferent to Quadrant. It sounds like your typical low-budget horror movie—some good ideas, but not enough resources to really pull them off.
