So what did you accomplish this summer?

So now that the summer is done and school is back on for the majority of you guys I'm just curious if anyone had an enjoyable summer (besides Keith and his Trip around the world in Nerdy days meeting Power Rangers, HJU Members, and Porn Stars).

For me this was the first full summer of being single and I have mixed feelings. It was a lonely one. All I did was work, pay bills, and buy **** for my growing Toku/Horror/Movie collection. I also managed to do nothing exciting besides watching tv shows like Highlander, True Blood, The Dead Zone, Lost, Total Recall 2070, Adventure Inc, and a few others since I dropped my tv cable. Cable TV makes me sick, too many commercials.

Other than that it was a complete **** summer. I didn't even hang out with any of my friends since we are all on different schedules.

So bottom line is a **** summer... Made excellent $$$$ but money isn't everything and it sure as **** doesn't bring happiness.

My life right now consists of: Go to work a night, go home in the morning, have a beer, watch a highlander episode, go to sleep for the day, wake up, and go back to work. If I didn't have my laptop and internet here at work I would have probally killed someone by now.

Graduated HS, went to Thailand for the first time in 5 years, and even stopped at Taiwan twice. The first half was really good, but the 2nd half was boring due to me getting jet-lagged for over a week, not getting my license again, and just really stayed at home. Though I did hang out with a few friends for a while, but then stayed home for the rest of the summer.

Oh, and I wanted to finish up Digimon Savers, but ultimately didn't do it to being lazy

Although, I'm almost done with my 4-month marathon on one show.

I turned 19 in July and...well I guess that's the most exciting part of summer so far:sweat: It gets really hot in Central Cali so I spend most of my days at home catching up on some toku shows, hung out with a few friends, playing some new DS games, and improving my drawing style. I also tried to get a part time job at some fast food joints but no luck there. I gotta keep trying! :shakefist

Sum it up, it was a pretty okay summer.

Shittiest summer in a long time. Got dumped, had to have foot surgery on my birthday because of a Brown Recluse bite, did almost nothing except work. At least my favorite holiday is coming up in October.

Nothing much, had to finish my industrial training for my degree, the job was boring but luckily my supervisor is one cool guy(he's a kamen rider fan). also went to MTV worldstage, wasn't as fun as I expected but I did enjoy it. Other than that, nothing interesting:disappoin
