Final Fantasy XV DLC Announced at Pax East 2018

Story DLC coming to latest Final Fantasy game in 2019

is announced at Pax East 2018

Final Fantasy fans will be glad to hear that new story based DLC is coming to the franchise’s latest installment next year as announced at Pax 2018.

The DLC will give the game an alternate grand finale as it would give an outcome each character could have had with each episode. Each episode will focus on a certain character and events relating to that character.

The first episode will be called The Conflict of The Sage and will focus on Ardyn. Another episode will focus on Lunafreya and is called The Choice of Freedom. While third and last full episode is titled The Final Strike and focuses on Noctus. Finally there is also a smaller side story focusing on Aranea Highwind of the Niflheim Empire.

The DLC will come with a new theme by Yoko Shimomura who is most known for her work in the Kingdom Hearts franchise and the Mana series.

The franchise itself started back in 1987 with the most recent installment coming out in 2016 and a Mobile version back in February of 2018. This includes noteworthy spin offs such as Final Fantasy Tactics, The Crystal Chronicles, and the Mana series. Each game has a different story and characters. The next game in the franchise is the remaster of Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation 4. Which is considered to be the peak of the franchise among fans.

Details will be given later this year most likely at E3 if not then some time before the Holiday season.
