Ken Masters has officially entered Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and he’s bringing his Dragonlash kicks, his blond beard, and a whole lot of baggage. SNK dropped the surprise trailer revealing the Street Fighter legend as part of the free Season 1 DLC lineup. Yes, you read that right: all Season 1 characters will be free to play. No wallet required, just fists.
Season 1 DLC Line-Up:
Ken Masters headlines a loaded season pass that includes:
-
✅ Andy Bogard (already in)
-
🔜 Joe Higashi (coming next)
-
🔜 Chun-Li (joining her SF buddy soon)
-
🔚 Mr. Big (closing out Season 1 in style)
Ken Masters Rocks the Street Fighter 6 Look

SNK brings in Ken Masters with his default look from Street Fighter 6– not the golden-boy gi from the 90s, but the rough-and-gritty “Hobo Ken” version. After being scammed, framed, and forced to leave his family behind, Ken went from champion to fugitive.
And now? He’s rocking a blond beard, which seems like a midlife crisis accessory more than a style choice. Considering he’s half-Japanese and canonically dyes his hair blond out of rebellion, bleaching the beard too just screams, “I’ve got issues.”
Still, this version of Ken looks far better than his Street Fighter V model, which honestly resembled a man who got evicted from a dojo and moved into a Taco Bell parking lot.

Classic Ken Is Still an Option

Prefer the old-school vibe? You’re in luck. Ken’s classic red gi costume returns as an alternate outfit, so players who want clean-shaven, happy-go-lucky Ken can relive those glory days in style.
Classic Ken Masters Theme, Classic Moves
SNK didn’t stop at the visuals. They brought back Ken’s iconic classic theme song, a move that instantly redeems the polarizing SF6 soundtrack. That nostalgic guitar riff hits harder than a Shoryureppa.
And speaking of Shoryureppa, Ken’s moveset is fully intact:
-
🌀 Hadoken
-
🔥 Shoryuken
-
🌪️ Tatsumaki Senpu-kyaku
-
💥 Dragonlash Flame, Jinrai Kicks
-
💢 Shoryureppa and other super combos
He may have lost his house, his wife, and his pride, but he never lost his frame data.
Capcom and SNK Are Playing Nice (Unlike Capcom and Marvel)
Ken Masters joins City of the Wolves alongside Chun-Li as part of a broader collaboration between Capcom and SNK. Earlier this year, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui already debuted in Street Fighter 6– a sign that both companies are trading fighters, not just cameos.
With Capcom and SNK clearly enjoying a healthy working relationship, fans can’t help but speculate: is Capcom vs SNK 3 finally possible? It certainly feels that way.
Especially when you consider this: Capcom and Marvel aren’t collaborating anymore. Marvel has moved on to work with Arc System Works on Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, leaving the Marvel vs. Capcom series in limbo.
Meanwhile, Capcom and SNK keep exchanging characters and fan service like it’s 2001 again. If there’s a time to bring CvS3 back from the dead, it’s now.
When to Expect Ken
Ken Masters joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves this summer. Whether he’s bonding with Terry, dodging Eliza’s texts, or spamming Shoryukens into the void, he’s back, and yes… Ken Masters is okay. Probably.
