Dragon Quest X: The Five Races Online
Square-Enix today held a press-conference for all things Dragon Quest, hit the jump for the full scoop…
While Dragon Quest X was announced for Wii back in 2008 before the release of DQ9 for DS. Since then othing has been heard of the title, some thought it may have been quietlly abandoned, some thought it may have been moved over to Wii U.
At the press-conference today it was confirmed that DQX will still be coming to Wii, but also that a visually upgraded version would also hit the Wii U. What is even more interesting is the name Dragon Quest X Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online, this roughly translates to “Dragon Quext X: The Five Awakening Races Online”.
Both versions will be cross-platform compatible and there will also be 3DS compatability! Square-Enix’s Yuji Hori confirmed the title for a 2012 release with a Beta version launching earlier. He told fans topay attention to the official site for more news soon.

I’m pretty confident we will. Perhaps only Wii U. Dragon Quest IX was published by Nintendo of America after all.
If it does release in the west it will be my first Dragon Quest game 🙂

You should try Dragon Quest IX. It’s pretty amazing if you like leveling and adventuring with friends but the best DQ that I’ve ever played is Dragon Quest 7.

I’ve never been into RPGs… until Xenoblade. Is DQ usually turned-based? and is DQ7 PS2?
