Square Enix’s remake of the 2000 PS1 hit Dragon Quest 7 make’s its way to the 3DS in Japan on February 7, 2013. The game is being developed by Artepiazza, who are responsible for the DS ports of 4, 5 and 6 and worked on the original Dragon Quest 7. Folks in the West could be expecting this game late 2013 or even 2014, which isn’t written in stone quite yet.
Square stated that the tittle is currently being “evaluated” for the western market
“We’re currently evaluating the title for the Western markets, but nothing has been determined. Please stay tuned for more information.”
Lets all keep our fingers crossed for this one, but seeing how Nintendo pushed out the last 3 prior ports state-side, we can all assume we’ll be seeing this on western shelves by at least 2014.
