Klei Entertainment announced today that Don’t Starve will be coming to the PS Vita, titled Don’t Starve: Giant Edition. This will include the original game, the Reign of Giants expansion, and all previous updates to the game. Community manager at Klei Entertainment Corey Rollins wrote in his PlayStation Blog post today “Since we first released Don’t Starve: Console Edition on PS4, a lot of people said they’d love to play it on the go with their Vita. Well, we agree!”
No release date has been announced yet, but as stated in the blog post “it’s happening.” More details will be released soon.
Also stated in the post, the Reign of Giants expansion for the PS4 is still in the works, and an update on that should be expected in the near future.
