During it’s E3 Digital Event, Nintendo unveiled that two of its prominent characters will be featured in the upcoming expansion of the mega popular Skylanders franchise. Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser will be appear in Skylanders SuperChargers. Both will have their own figurines that you can use in Skylanders and as a regular (epic) Amiibo!

Skylanders is delighted to welcome beloved guest stars Donkey Kong and Bowser into its magical world.”

It’ll be fun to see if more Nintendo characters arrive in Skylanders, and whether they’ll feature epic upgrades like Donkey and Bowser received in their Skylanders characters. Skylanders SuperChargers arrives on September 20th, with the Donkey Kong and Bowswer figures only being playable on Nintendo platforms (Wii U and 3DS).
