  After the release of the Sega Genesis Mini, I was intrigued that the mini console has 40 titles to choose from. Then I discovered the lack of games on the console, especially my favorites, Phantasy Star II, Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and Decap Attack, and I was thinking, “What the hell, Sega?” Maybe they’re making room for games that never been released in the collections like Alisia Dragoon, Monster World IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, and Mega Man: The Wily Wars, but who knows? It was a good marketing plan from Sega at the end but could’ve done better, some people rather stick to the Genesis Collection that’s been released in the past, but I’m glad that the Genesis titles like Alisia Dragoon finally gets a re-release. Now, Sega announced the Game Gear Micro, and what’re my thoughts about it? Now the Game Gear Micro is a very small…I mean…A SMALL console that’s around 50 dollars each. Breath of Fire is one of the first JRPG games I ever played, right along with Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. Pokemon was the game that got me into JRPGs, but I want to play something with a really engrossing story. Breath of Fire has an interesting story, characters, and…some translation errors, but will it live up to it’s very day as one of the greatest JRPGs out there? Developed by Capcom in 1993 and published by Squaresoft now Square-Enix in 1994, Breath of Fire is one of the first JRPGs out there. What about Sweet Home and Destiny of an Emperor–Ok let me rephrase that…first LEGIT JRPG from Capcom. Cause counting Sweet Home, it’s more of a survival horror with JRPG elements, and Destiny of an Emperor is more like a turnbased JRPG with battle against your units.   Mike Maverick interviewed Matt Papa, one of the representatives of Inti-Creates. We talked about Blaster Master Zero 2, Dragon Marked of Death and Azure Striker Gunvolt. Matt Papa is an awesome person and he showed me some of the games that have been played during the time at MomoCon. To be honest, the interview wasn’t as great as it could have been as I went off topic when I mentioned Kanna from Blaster Master Zero 2. Anyways, the company itself was fantastic when it comes to games that has a retro style feel to it. I suggest you want to help the brand out by trying not only Blaster Master Zero, but it’s sequel, Blaster Master Zero 2, Azure Striker Gunvolt, and Dragon: Marked for Death.
