Atomic Eden Explodes Onto VOD
The throwback action film Atomic Eden, which its distributor describes as “Carpenteresque,” has arrived on VOD platforms as of today.
A doomsday device lost during World War II may have been found, and the world will be in big trouble if the wrong hands get ahold of it first. There’s only one man to call in this situation: Stoker, a mercenary who gets things done. He calls himself “The Leader” because even “Stoker” wasn’t macho enough for him.
However, this mission may be too big even for The Leader. So he calls in favors from his friends: David, Reiko, Darwin, Heinrich, Johm, Brenner and Laurie, also known as The Fighter, The Samurai, The Texan, The Priest, The Sniper, The Blade and The Rookie. NOW Stoker has the numbers and the collective skills to attack his enemies….oh wait, they outnumber the team a hundred to one. They’re in way over their heads, but fortunately, that’s a crucial element of action films.
Atomic Eden stars Fred Williamson (“From Dusk till Dawn”, VFW), Mike Möller (“Arena of the Streetfighter,” “Ultimate Justice”), Lorenzo Lamas (TV’s “Renegade”), Everett Ray Aponte (“The Hitman Agency”), and Hazuki Kato (HBO’s “Grisse”, “In Full Bloom” “Falcon Rising”). It’s available now on most VOD platforms.
Stoker – “The Leader” (Fred Williamson) is a mercenary with a mission. In order for him to complete this mission, he will have to assemble a team of not only the best in the business; he needs people he can trust. He calls in a few favors and assembles the toughest, most badass group of mercenaries loyalty can buy. With David – “The Fighter” (Mike Möller), Reiko – “The Samurai” (Hazuki Kato), Darwin – “The Texan” (Everett Ray Aponte), Heinrich – “The Priest” (Wolfgang Riehm), John – “The Sniper” (Nico Sentner), Brenner – “The Blade” (Dominik Stark) and Laurie – “The Rookie” (Josephine Hies) by his side, the mission should be a breeze. It quickly turns into an un-winnable battle with eight people battling against eight hundred, all vying for control of a doomsday device lost during World War II. With the odds stacked against them, they’re ready to risk life and limb to save millions of lives.
