Arrow EP Teases Final Episodes

Arrow has been doing a lot this season, from bringing in a villain created by Oliver’s actions in Season 01 in Prometheus, to Oliver Queen expanding Team Arrow to include characters like Wild Dog, Mr. Terrific, and a new Black Canary, pushing Felicity Smoak down the dark side, and more, it’s been a busy season. But now, with three episodes left, starting tonight, things are only going to get more twisted.

Arrow Executive Producer Wendy Mericle talked with TVLine about what’s coming, including the return of Black Siren. She’ll be back as part of Prometheus’ plan to mess with Oliver, and that means going to meet her “father” Quentin Lance: “And from a writing perspective, it’s just fun storytelling. Katie Cassidy does an amazing job as Black Siren, and seeing her take on Dinah, or her take on Lance, is going to be fun.” notes Mericle.

An interesting tidbit about the season finale is that it won’t be set in Star City, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a lot of action:

“One of the fun parts of having Prometheus and Oliver going toe-to-toe this season has been they’re both really great fighters, but by the same token, Prometheus is a tremendous psychological villain and he’s going to hit Oliver right where it hurts. That’s going to be a double whammy for him in the finale.”
