The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt System Requirements Revealed
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s release is still a few months away, but CD Projekt Red has released the official system requirements for the Windows PC version of the game. The system requirements were released via the game’s official website.
The game will require a minimum 6 GB of RAM in order to run along with a 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8 (8.1) operating system. The game will require 40 GB of hard disk drive space. Of course, the recommended RAM space is 8 GB.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will finally launch on May 19. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The highly anticipated sequel was originally due out next month on February 24 before developer CD Projekt Red announced that the game had been delayed another three months, and the release date had been pushed back to May.
While the wait for the RPG will be longer, players across all platforms will have access to the free downloadable content program for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. At launch, CD Projekt Red will release two pieces of DLC: the Temerian Armor Set and the Beard and Hairstyle Set. Following the launch, CD Projekt Red will release a DLC bundle of two components every week for free. This includes story DLC content. Considering The Witcher 3 will offer over 100 hours of story content by itself, CD Projekt Red appears to be adding quite even more to the game later on.
