Watch Dogs release date announced
Ubisoft has just announced the release date for the long awaited Watch Dogs. Arriving in stores November 22nd, this title will appear on Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and is expected to come out on other next generation platforms too. There will be four editions of Watch Dogs, each with its own unique set of features. Players will get choose between the Special Edition, the Dedsec Edition, Vigilante Edition and Uplay Edition.
All editions sans Vigilante will come with the Breakthrough Pack, which is a mission available in single player. In this DLC, your job is to drive through Chicago and find scramblers that the Chicago Club has placed around the city. Take them all out and retrieve all names from the Club meeting; afterwards you will upload their images for the world to see.
Palace Pack will be included in every edition except for the Special Edition. In this mission you will be wiping an internet mogul’s hard drive containing important information on thousands of people, Aiden Pearce being one of them. You’ll have to quickly break into the mogul’s palace and get the job done before the police raid happens.
Signature Shot is included in both Desdec and Uplay Editions. The captain of the Black Viceroys gang has smuggled a biometric weapon in Chicago. It’s your duty to break into Black Viceroy’s garrison and steal the weapon.
The Desdec Edition has a wealth of physical content, including an Aiden Pearce Figurine, Steelbook, Dedsec Collector box, Watch Dogs Artbook, Watch Dogs map of Chicago, 4 collectible cards, and 3 exclusive badges. To top it all off you’re treated with the Breakthrough Pack, palace pack, and signature shot.
A step down from there, the Uplay Edition, offered exclusively via the Uplay website, will include the Steel Book, Palace Pack, Breakthrough Pack, and Signature Shot.
The Vigilante Edition, available exclusively at GAME UK and GameStop Ireland, has physical content such as the Vigilante Collector box, Aiden Pearce’s cap, Aiden Pearce’s mask, and the original soundtrack of Watch Dogs. Alongside the physical goodies is the Palace Pack.
Last, but certainly not least, the Special Edition (which is seemingly the “standard” edition of the game) comes with the Breakthrough Pack.
It’s clear that Ubisoft wanted to to make the best of this game’s release, putting in as much material as they possibly could. Whether you’re going to purchase this game in the UK, Ireland or North America, you can definitely expect to get a bang for your buck.

Man, I can’t wait for this. Though, I think the whole edition thing is a touch maze-y.
