Arc System Works North American site launched
Arc System Works has recently launched a website for news-related good specifically for North America. Features like product information and general description of upcoming and existing video games will be displayed, but will also integrate social networking features, enabling viewers to share with others through major social media oulets, including YouTube. Arc System Works’ latest tweets are also displayed, giving you the latest happenings in 140 characters or less, such as teasers, general details about their games and trailers showing off gameplay. Fans can also opt to partake in the email service, allowing them to receive updates on new titles and exclusive content.
“We have a very passionate and vocal fan base in North America, so we wanted to give them a direct link to our organization that we’ve never had before,” said Minoru Kidooka, president of Arc System Works. “Our hope is that gamers become a part of the dialogue as we begin developing our latest titles with their input in mind.”
Besides information, the website encourages users to participate in activities that Arc System Works creates; the first amongst them being a popularity contest for characters. Fans will vote in a poll over which Guilty Gear and BlazBlue character is the best.
Arc System Works was founded by Minoru Kidooka in 1988. To this day they continue to release a number of different series on various platforms; they specialize in fighting games and have developed some of the best ones to date. They are most famously known for publishing and developing video games such as the Guilty Gear series, spiritual successor BlazBlue, and Arcana Heart. For over 2 decades Arc System Works has made strides with their sprite based games, improving animation and design with each generation.
