Nintendo has released a second trailer for their upcoming remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and this one is about the story….in case you haven’t heard it within the near-decade this game has been out. (Egads, ten years already? How frightening…)
Even people who have never played the game know the basic beats: Link runs after a kidnapping, he stumbles into some weird dimension where he transforms into a wolf, and he meets a spunky imp named Midna, who is to date the best companion Link has been saddled with.
You’ll be able to get a physical Midna (riding Wolf Link) when you buy the Limited Edition of Twilight Princess that comes with a Wolf Link amiibo statue. The statue will unlock a brand-new dungeon in the game — and this one is replayable, generating goodies each time you enter. You know how hard amiibo can be to find at first, so preordering the Limited Edition would be wise.
Other Zelda-related amiibo will provide advantages in the game: tapping Link or Toon Link will restock your arrows, Zelda will replenish your hearts, and Ganondorf will make enemies do double damage (which counts as an advantage to SOME people). The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD comes out March 4.
