The Witcher 3 Has Gone Gold

After much anticipation, and a delay or two, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has officially gone gold. This comes from CD Projekt Red themselves:

“We worked so damn hard over the past three years to bring you this game,” said CD Projekt Red boss Adam Badowski. “From the corrupt nobles in Novigrad to ancient monsters lurking in deep forests, to the bustling cities, colorful ports and breathtaking vistas; all the people, all the places — we literally spent tens of thousands of hours to turn all that into an adventure that will kick your ass and make you want to come for more. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has gone gold and will soon be yours.”

Based on everything we’ve seen from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, this game will not only be an expansive experience, but one that is brimming with life, choices, action, and most importantly, replayability. It’s two previous entries were heralded as great titles in an RPG genre that seemed to be going stagnant in many ways, yet The Witcher defied expectations, and wowed many with its story, combat, and branching content.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the third entry in the Witcher franchise. It is set to release on May 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
