The Terminal List based from a novel written by an actual Navy Seal
The Terminal List is action thriller series coming to Amazon Prime Video. It is based on a novel written by former Navy SEAL Jack Carr. Even if the series is fictional, it had inspiration from Carr’s experience during his military enlistment. Jack has the most accurate depictions of combat missions because he experienced them himself.
He also use books about the Vietnam War as reference. Carr proudly promotes his baby that became a Tv series:

The Terminal List is the first book of a pentalogy. If the Terminal List is successful enough, the other novels will be adapted too. Amazon Prime has high confidence in this project that they cast Box Office movie star Chris Pratt for the lead role. Pratt is known for starring in multiple film franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Lego Movie, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Jurassic World.
Also joining the cast are Taylor Kitsch, Constance Wu, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough (Elvis Presley‘s Granddaughter), and Patrick Schwarzenegger (Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son)
This Amazon Prime video original will have all of the eight episodes available upon release.
James Reese (Chris Pratt) feels Survivor’s guilt when his entire platoon dies during a mission. His comrades got killed in an Ambush during the high-stakes task. He decided to go back to his hometown to recover from the tragedy. Aside from dealing with blameworthiness, he wanted answers on what caused that mission’s failure.
He made an investigation of his own, and he gets to discover the conspiracy and truth about what really happened. This discovery will put his life in jeopardy not only but also for the people that he loves. To make it worst, No one believes him, and everyone thinks he is just crazy because of PTSD.
The Terminal List will premiere in the Amazon Prime video on the first of July.

The Writer is a real Navy Seal? I want to watch this for that reason alone. He experienced war first hand so the story could be base from his experiences.
