the mummy rebirth

The Mummy Rebirth Rises This August

Darn mummies…..always rising from the grave, always trying to raise an army of the dead to destroy the world. What can you do? The solution is, as always, to find a pair of plucky treasure hunters to discover ancient spells and artifacts to beat him down, or when that fails, shoot him.

The plotline of The Mummy Rebirth will be familiar to anyone who’s seen any other mummy-themed movie, big-budget or otherwise. A powerful and evil man in ancient Egypt was thwarted and wrapped in bandages, but cast a curse that would resurrect him if the right conditions were accidentally met by modern-day explorers. Tom Cruise had to deal with this situation, as did Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz (and to a lesser extent Maria Bello). Now it’s so-and-so’s turn….wait, who’s starring in this thing?

The Mummy Rebirth stars Carter (Live Evil), David E. Cazares (The 13th Friday), Brittany Goodwin (“Murder by Numbers”) and Deanna Grace Congo (Alien : Reign of Man). It was written and directed by Khu and Justin Price, and should be arriving on DVD and VOD platforms August 13.

Two treasure hunters uncover a sealed tomb and awaken a mummy that has waited years to come back and wipe humanity from the face of the Earth. It’s a race against time as they try to stop the Mummy from wreaking havoc on the modern world.

The Mummy Rebirth on DVD and Digital August 13, 2019.
