It looks like players who are enjoying the closed beta for The Division are going to get the opportunity to enjoy it a little longer. Ubisoft has announced on the official community forums for The Division that the Closed Beta is being extended for an extra 24 hours this. As a result of the extension, the beta, which began on January 28, will now end on Tuesday, February 2 instead of Monday.
The Closed Beta for The Division will now remain open until Tuesday, February 2 at 12:00 pm CET, 6:00 am EST and 3:00 am PST. Ubisoft is working to invite as many players as possible for the Closed Beta since a lot of gamers registered for the waitlist and have been eagerly waiting for a chance to check out the game. Previously, Ubisoft started adding more players to the closed beta this weekend and inviting them through e-mail. (via Gamespot).
This is definitely a nice sign of good will from Ubisoft for the players who have been supporting the title in its ultimate lead-up. After quite a long wait, The Division’s final launch is just over a month away. The game hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on March 8.
