The Burial Synopsis
“Molly’s boyfriend receives an invitation from his brother, whom he has not seen in a while. Even though she has no plans to go with him to this unannounced family reunion at a remote cabin, she is dragged into a dangerous leadership role. The plot of The Burial – thickens when the trip’s true purpose is revealed, and her aim to help is transformed into a head-on conflict with unknown evil.”
Direction and Screenplay
The Burial (2023) is written and directed by Michael Escalante, in a significant role switch from student to a director. The student actor, Escalante, appeared in To Raise Hell (2017). He now directs a drama/horror thriller. The story presents a pair of brothers who reacts to a telephone call to a family reunion. The trailer presents highlights of the baffling experience of Molly, the girlfriend of one of the brothers.
Meanwhile, at some point, there is a murder and a burial, but the dead refuses to stay dead and comes back for revenge and to reveal the truth.

The couple and friend are then thrown into a sprint for life where Molly has no idea who to really trust, Is her captive alive or imaginary? Is he telling the truth, or is her boyfriend behind the evil?
The sudden appearance of an unknown figure, the rapid change of scenery and roles, and a tragedy set musical theme appeal to thriller fans. However, the abundant presentation of daytime shots makes one wonder if there will be more after-dark sceneries popular with horror films.
The Burial is set to premiere on Digital on March 3, 2023, from Terror Films. Terror Films is a specialist in the acquisition and distribution of horror films.
Casting
Aaron Pyle, is known for his role in Wild West Chronicles (2020), Faith Kearns, The Dreamer (2016) Dead Ink Archives (2017). and Vernon Taylor, seen in The Holloweeners (2017).
