The Wolf Among Us 2 is one of the most awaited sequel games. Back in 2013, fans wanted more from Telltale after the success of The Walking Dead. People realize there is a market for interactive movies because of its success. In a world were online multiplayer games are dominating, this series proves there is still market for single player games.
The first game became the answer for the demand for episodic graphic adventure games. It is like those Choose your own adventure books where you can choose the fate the main character but more visual. An Interactive movie where you decide the fate of Bigby AKA the Big Bad Wolf. The first game having multiple endings makes me think this sequel will be standalone from the first game.
This episodic story driven adventure game is an adaptation of Bill Willingham‘s Fables comic book series. The Wolf Among us was the prequel of that graphic novel series.
It is about our childhood fairy tale characters taking refuge to modern day New York because of a threat called “The Adversary”. Bigby is one of the “Fables” or fairy tale characters who left to escape the destruction of their world. The Wolf Among Us 2 continues 6 months after the events of the first game but it is still a prequel of the book.

Back in 2018, fans were upset because this game was canceled after Telltale was sold to LCG Entertainment. Fans are now celebrating because they thought the existence of this game will be a pipe dream. The original actors of Bigby and Snow White are announced to return to reprise their roles. Something rare for videogames these days because companies were trying to save money by hiring non union actors.
