Survival MMO Stalker Online Announced

Mobile Technologies LLC is introducing a new survival MMO to the market this fall. Titled Stalker Online, it’s inspired by the obscure 1979 film Stalker and the series of Stalker games that followed it.

You’re in the post-apocalyptic world of Zone (which appears to have once been Russia), vast and open but fraught with danger. Your immediate concern is just to survive, but in the long term your goal is to uncover the mysteries of Zone by gaining the experience and supplies to traverse deep into its core.

To do that, you’ll have to learn to build your own weapons….make friends with other players….take on occupations and jobs…and develop skills and experience. Mutants, harsh weather and environmental traps will try to get in your way.

  • Massive open world
  • Recreated realms of the former USSR
  • Accurate post-soviet 90’s architecture
  • Realistic weapons and equipment
  • RPG elements with experience, skill, and profession systems
  • A player-driven economy with an open-trade system
  • Survive a harsh and desolate environment
  • Encounter mutants and anomalies
  • Solve the mysteries of the Zone
  • Interact and group up with other players or fight against others for valuable supplies

Stalker Online is coming to PCs later this year. You can keep on top of future announcements by keeping tabs on the Twitter or Facebook page.  Better yet, you can sign up for the open beta by going here.
