Stephen Amell Thinks Black Lightning Will Crossover With Rest Of Arrowverse

When Arrow became a hit on the CW, and shows like Flash and Legends of Tomorrow were created because of it, it was reasonable to think that they would crossover, and they did. Supergirl was born on another network, and then brought over to the CW. So, that took a little work to make the crossover element believable. But it worked. When Black Lightning was created, it was stated that it “wasn’t” a part of the Arrowverse, and thus wouldn’t crossover. Many are wondering if that still holds true though.

Recently, the CW confirmed that Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Black Lightning have all been renewed for another season, which is great news for fans. But, it does leave the question of whether the newest hero on the CW block will meet the other heroes. During a panel at Awesome Con, Arrow actor Stephen Amell truly thinks he’ll crossover:

“Everyone pretends like we’re not going to eventually cross over with Black Lightning,” Amell said, “but we’re probably gonna cross over with Black Lightning because that’s just the way that the world works.”

While it’s true that the show wasn’t designed to be in the Arrowverse, a recent episode noted that characters like Supergirl and Vixen are a part of the Earth they are on. Whether that leads to a true crossover though is at best a guess.
