In the last few days, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm have released two new TV spots for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So we’ve rounded them up here and posted them all for your viewing pleasure below. You can check out the new spots, including the 60-second spot from ABC’s TGIT in case you missed it.
Another spot premiered today on Cartoon Network, and you can also check out that new video below. There’s more battle footage and dialogue between Finn and Rey. There’s a little more footage of Kylo Ren in action and deflecting blasts with his special lightsaber. One shot has Finn and Rey barely avoiding a blast from an incoming Tie fighter while they flee on the planet Jakku. The extended TV spot has a hint of more dialogue for Kylo Ren, where he says, “Nothing will stand in our way. I will show them the Dark Side.” In what is sure to be a significant for Star Wars lore, Finn and Rey share their names with each other. There’s finally a look at C-3PO in the film, though it is somewhat brief and fleeting. Another shot shows that Rey’s staff is not just for show.
The footage is definitely hitting the notes, and it anticipating for the return of Star Wars mania is building. Star Wars The Force awakens arrives in theaters on December 18.
