Then there was a time when Whoopie finally has an idea for a 3rd movie and she made a pitch to Disney but Disney declined because they want to remake the movie instead. I think Disney wanted to adapt the Broadway musical version or remake the first film instead. With The help of Tyler Perry of the Madea franchise fame, Sister act 3 will finally happen. Fans hope that many favorites from the past films will reprise their roles. It will be interesting to see what Deloris Van Cartier had been up to these days. Is she still a singer in Las Vegas or did she become a nun for real?
