“Seeds” To Get Limited Theatrical Release
Uncork’d and Dark Star Entertainment have announced their upcoming horror film “Seeds” will be getting a limited theatrical engagement in September, in addition to its DVD and VOD release later that month.
Marcus needs a break — he needs a vacation; rest and relaxation. Since he’s the subject of a horror movie, it isn’t likely he’ll find it, but this time the monster isn’t lurking outside his door or in a closet…..it’s within him. There’s definitely something weird going on with his body. Is the monster about to hatch from him Alien-style, or is he turning INTO one? Marcus has no idea, but his brother picks THIS WEEK to ask him to look after his nephew and niece. This isn’t the time, pal!
“Seeds” stars Trevor Long (Netflix’s Ozark), Andrea Chen, Garr Long, and Kevin Breznahan. It was written by Steven Weisman and directed by Owen Long, and will play in select theaters September 13, before its DVD and VOD release September 24.
After a night of debauchery spirals out of control, Marcus retreats to his family home along the New England coast. Solitude is disturbed when his brother asks Marcus to look after his estranged nephew and niece. As days pass, solace escapes him; he feels baited by a dark force. Is he losing his mind or has something terrible burrowed deep within him? Incubating. Waiting until the climate is right. Haunted by his deepest fears, Marcus struggles not to succumb as he fights to protect Lily, his beloved niece from a monster that lies in wait.
