Sci-Fi RPG DEX Gets a New Playable Demo
Badland Games officially announced this week that the acclaimed RPG DEX has a new demo that’s out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam. The new demo lets players experience Harbor Prime and get a taste of augmentation at Dr. Niles’ clinic. The demo link is available here, and you can check out a story trailer below.
The demo features some new story elements and enhanced gameplay. Not to mention, it’s completely free and players can get a chance to win a special selection of digital rewards by playing it. These include wallpapers, avatars and an artbook for the game.
Additionally, Badland Games also revealed that gamers in the European Union can get the game for 50 percent off the regular price of Dex if they purchase it at the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The sale on the game will be running from now (April 5) until April 26.
Since the demo is free, this seems like a great way for players to experience the game and see if they’d want to buy into the whole entire thing.
The story follows a young girl named Dex who is being chased by corporate mercs for unknown reasons. Dex soon has to question her own existence and dodge attackers across an eerie future. The game features classic hand-drawn sprite animations and a nice throwback style. The game is also fully voiced acted as well.
