Robots, When you use Android proxies do the dating for you
Robots is a charming Sci-fi romantic comedy that will transport you to a futuristic world. This movie parallels Black Mirror episodes that have yet to exist. Set in a world where people have their own Android clones to run errands, it sheds light on our dependence on technology. It reflects how social media has influenced people to create a romantic version of themselves.
I use filters to enhance my pictures because of my insecurities, but I don’t cross the line. I will never go so low by catfishing people. However, the characters in Robots take it to another level by using photo-realistic android copies to create a perfect image of themselves. This movie stars two talented actors, Shailene Woodley and Jack Whitehall. It is directed and written by Casper Christensen and Anthony Hines, known for their notable works like “Borat” and “EuroTrip.”

Charlie is a wealthy playboy who lures multiple women simultaneously by using Android Double. It is an image of how he wanted people to see him. He also depends on his Android double to do tasks no humans will do, like trimming his pubic hair. Elaine wants to become wealthy the easy way, and when I say the easy way, I talk about marrying a rich man. Why work a 9 to 5 job if you can have the credit card of a rich husband?
The two of them, though, have no confidence to be themselves. So they let their Android Clones do the dating for themselves.
As their Robots date each other every encounter, they start being sentient. The Robots eloped, and they decided to get married using their identities. Charlie and Elaine will not work together to kill their Android doubles before they steal their lives and identity. See how this Robots fall love at first site this June 22, 2023.
