Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight announces the Survivors and Killers

Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight Chapter

Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight is finally announced at the 5th anniversary broadcast of Dead by Daylight. It is a crossover that I never thought will happen because Resident evil uses guns and combat. Meanwhile, Dead by Daylight is all about stealth. The Killer is going to be Nemesis from Resident Evil 3.

Resident evil has several iconic monsters and villains. So it is really hard to narrow it down to one. In the end, Nemesis is chosen because of the recent success of the Resident Evil 3 remake. Nemesis won’t be alone because he will be joined by a.i controlled zombies.

Resident evil also has multiple numbers of iconic heroes and survivors. It is hard to just choose one.

Nemesis will be the killer.

This is the second time a DBD chapter has two Survivors since Stranger things. The Survivor is two Resident evil characters who never met before. Jill Valentine in her Resident Evil 3 remake incarnation. She will be joined by Leon Scott Kennedy on his Resident evil 2 incarnations. It is timely for Behavior to use Leon because he has an upcoming Netflix Original Resident evil: Infinite Darkness. Resident Evil 4 also has an upcoming remake. Also unlike Chris Redfield who have an oversaturation after appearing in 5 Resident evil sequels in a row. People kinda Miss Leon because his final canonical game is Resident Evil 6.

Nemesis will not be complete without the person he loves to stalk the most. Jill Valentine is the most popular Resident evil character of all time but sadly her last starring role in the mainline titles is Resident evil 3 and her final canonical appearance in the recent canon is Resident evil 5. To make it worse her last game is a remake. Jill being the Face of Resident evil in Dead by Daylight is something she deserves because Capcom is not appreciative of her. I notice that the Resident evil characters chosen for this chapter have their remake models. Usually, Behavior makes its models. I am glad they didn’t because they didn’t give Heather Mason from Silent Hill justice with her model on this game.
