2016 will not just see the release of a new CG animated feature based on the Ratchet & Clank franchise, it will also see a new video game reboot to the hit game series as well. Sony PlayStation Computer Entertainment showcased a new trailer for the game with new footage recently at Paris Games Week 2015. You can check out the new video from the Sony media briefing in the player below.
The new game is based on the upcoming movie directed by Kevin Munroe and will feature elements from the first Ratchet & Clank. This will be the first game for the heroes on PS4 and also retells their origins. The story features Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark and new characters battling to save the Solana Galaxy from the evil Chairman Drek.
The upcoming film is due out on April 29, 2016. The game was previously due out in 2015 before it was delayed. It’s now scheduled for an April 2016 release, the same month as the movie, and it will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
