If you want the version of the PS4 that comes with The Last Of Us remastered, better hop on it. Next month, Sony will be replacing that version of the console with the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundle.
In 2016 Naughty Dog will release Uncharted 4, rumored to wrap up the series (though we will see if it stays dead), and to help people catch up, a compilation disc is coming out for PS4 that contains the single-player content from all three Uncharted games released for the PS3. They’re all now functioning at a higher framerate and resolution thanks to the PS4’s extra horsepower. Uncharted 2 in particular is considered one of the PS3’s best games and worth the price alone.
Both the stand-alone game and the bundle will come out October 9, replacing The Last Of Us. Of course, either way, you’re paying for something you could already have on a PS3 for less money. It’s worth pointing out Sony will also be selling a bundle that includes Destiny: The Taken King this fall.
As for Uncharted 4, it comes out March 18, 2016.
