There are many TV shows and cartoons that are so beloved that they’re considered “sacred”, and for good reason. Pretty much every cartoon that was in the DC Comics Animated Universe is such a case. Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, Superman TAS, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, and, the original Teen Titans cartoon. This series made Robin a lead character for the first time, and was the TV debut of characters like Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy (Cyborg was in the Super Friends cartoon).
The series ran for five seasons, and there were plans for a sixth, but it got canceled. Since then, fans have hoped for a revival, but instead, we got Teen Titans Go!, which is getting its own movie later this year. However, for many, that series is a mockery of what the original series was. Well, reports are still flowing out of last weeks Wonder Con, and one of them states that one of the original producers of the show says that the show not only could return, it’s very likely it might. TTG had a panel at Wondercon today, co-producer Micheal Jelenic stated that he “can almost guarantee” the original Teen Titans is coming back. So yeah, we’ll see!

Now, clearly, this isn’t a confirmation, but if it does come back in all its original glory, that would be something really cool.
