superman and lois

Oh Yay, It’s The CW’s Superman And Lois Trailer

Apparently on the same night that Gotham Knights makes its “sure to be a hit” debut, Superman And Lois will return for its (final?) new season. It makes sense to pair them together, synergy-wise, but we hope Gotham Knights doesn’t get the 8PM slot.

The CW‘s official description says: “Season 3 opens weeks after Superman’s blowout defeat of Ally Allston. Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small town life. But the Kents’ romantic bliss only shines a light on how isolating ‘the secret’ can be, as Chrissy struggles to balance a new love interest and her friendship with Lois. However, Lois’ own work-life balance is put to the test when an undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the Kent family forever. Superman would move heaven and earth for his family, but with a villain this merciless, even that might not be enough.”

It goes on to describe Jon and Jordan’s current relationship woes, but no one cares about that. But the most shocking twist of all is implied by the below trailer: is Lois pregnant? And if so, will she even have time to pop out a baby before The CW implodes?

Oh yeah, and if one of Clark and Lois’s kids looks a bit different, there’s a reason: Jordan Elsass left the series and has been replaced by Australian actor Michael Bishop. We hope he’ll be good at hiding his accent: Lois would sure be startled to see Jon sit down for breakfast one morning and say “OI, LUV! I’LL TAKE ONE A’ THEM FLAPJACKS WITH THE SYRUP MAPLES, I WILL.”

Given the state of…..everything, we don’t have very high hopes that Superman And Lois will live beyond this current season, though we suppose there’s always the possibility that another channel or streaming service could take interest. It’d be a shame if it dies here. The third season begins March 14.

For its Final Season? I hope they don't just finish at 3rd season only as there is a lot that can still be planned around Superman.

They decided to finish it because Warner Bros had been canceling shows so they rather end it than get canceled in a cliffhanger.

If lois is actually pregnant then there should be more twist in the show .

Could Lois be expecting a baby? It's amazing how little I found interest in this advertisement, and it's not just because Gotham Knights were involved, hehe. It appears like the whole purpose of the situation is to annoy Jordan once more. Lois, the secondary protagonist and the second main character after Clarke, demands more focus.

There's a good chance that this show will be connected to Gotham Nights in the future. In an attempt to find common ground, maybe focus on those that share similar characteristics. I, for one, am eager to learn more about Jordan's travels. They could easily include it without spoiling anything, and it's a major development we would have expected to see beginning in season two.

The production has made numerous releases, so they decide to try something practical to the current situation because this is how things are going.
