Batman: The Animated Series is considered one of (if not the) greatest animated adaptation of a comic book property ever. In fact, it was this cartoon that kickstarted the DC Animated universe, which would include Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Teen Titans, and of course, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. And yet, even with all those other series, Batman TAS is still considered the bar.
Well, at New York Comic Con, during a special Batman: The Animated Series 25th Anniversary Panel, it was revealed that a Blu-Ray collection of the series is coming in 2018. No specific date yet, but 2018 is the confirmed year.
This follows on the heels of the Mask Of The Phantasm Blu-Ray release, which was the highly-beloved movie that served as a follow-up to the series of sorts.
