Nintendo put out its new earnings report today, and yes, the company had another profit year. They took this occasion to reveal the current all-time sales charts for Wii U and 3DS games. What they didn’t specify was if the list intentionally included third-party games or not…there are none, and none would show up on the Wii U list anyway, but it’s still a question.
The numbers aren’t as super as Nintendo would probably like (there have been more copies sold of Pokemon X and Y than there have Wii Us) but it still shows the company knows how to target its audience and rake in the cash. Also, go buy Bayonetta 2 if you haven’t already — it needs to be on the chart.

- Mario Kart 8 – 5.43 million
- Nintendo Land – 4.88 million
- New Super Mario Bros. U – 4.84 million
- Super Mario 3D World – 4.3 million
- Super Smash Bros. Wii U – 3.83 million
- New Super Luigi U – 2.26 million
- Splatoon – 1.62 million
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD – 1.57 million
- Wii Party U – 1.57 million
