New Photo From Alien: Covenant Set

Today the official Alien Twitter page published another new screenshot from the Alien: Covenant set. You can see it up above.

It’s really no mystery what this is if you know slightly anything about the Alien franchise. It’s the opening hallway from one of those circular ships piloted by the Space Jockeys (technically called “Engineers” now, but…..no). The “Covenant” in the title is the name of the spaceship that touches down in the same area where this ship is resting.

At first, only one “living” thing is present on the planet….David, the Synthetic from Prometheus. How’d he get there, and what awaits the crew of the Covenant? ……well, it’s obvious what awaits the crew of the Covenant, but how much is David going to tell them?

Along with the new screenshot, a series of numbers was published in the same tweet: “185612082104.” These are believed to be milliseconds which add up to 51 hours from the time the tweet was posted. We may be getting a Christmas Eve surprise in the form of Alien: Covenant’s first trailer. If that happens, we’ll pass it on.

Alien: Covenant is due out May 19, 2017.
