The Last Of Us Part II is easily one of the most anticipated sequels in recent memory. The original game broke records and set standards for what games should be in many ways, and with most of the team returning for the sequel, most are expecting similar results. However, recent trailers for the game have put a much darker cloud over the game, as brutality was shown in full and it caused some to react badly. Thankfully, at the PlayStation Experience today, a panel for The Last Of Us Part II was held, and new details were revealed.
For example, if you’re looking for assurances that Joel and Ellie won’t be seriously hurt, or even killed, you’re out of luck, cause writer Neil Druckmann said “no one is safe, not even [Joel and Ellie].” However, though the game will be far from lighthearted he did note that “there is hope” in the game, maybe another version of the giraffe scene? We’ll have to see.
A confirmation has been made in stating that the game will be taking place in part in Seattle, Washington, which gamers have deduced through the trailers and early pics. As for progress, the game is apparently at 50-60% completed.
No release date or window for the game as of yet.
