New Clip from Devil’s Junction
Devil’s Junction: Handy-Dandy’s Revenge is opening in select theaters now, and to call attention to that fact, the makers have released this new clip. In it, a deranged juggalo carves up a body and then offers an organ to a puppet, who gives him a look like “Who, ME??” ….It’ll make more sense once you read the plot description.
Evil puppets are always good for a laugh and a scare at the same time, and the upcoming release Devil’s Junction fully commits itself to the concept.
Back in the 1960s a puppeteer and magician named Mister Jolly was the star of a local television station in Detroit. That was many decades ago, and the station is no longer in operation, with its windows boarded up. The property is eventually bought by a man named Richard who wants to bulldoze it and build condos. Only problem is, he never ran that plan past Mister Jolly…who never truly left that building.
Suffice to say Mister Jolly is not a fan of Richard, and when his son sneaks onto the property to entertain his friends, he sees the perfect opportunity for revenge. The four teens are now trapped in the abandonded studio, where they are hunted by Jolly and his wisecracking wooden minions.
Devil’s Junction: Handy-Dandy’s Revenge stars Bill Moseley (Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects, 3 From Hell), Bill Oberst, Jr. (3 From Hell, Death House), Jake Red, Cody Cameron, Arthur Marroquin, Danni Spring, Kyle Anderson and Katelynn Newberry. It was directed by Jeff Broadstreet, and it will have a handful of select screenings in the LA area on October 19 and 19, followed by a wide VOD release November 5.
