Naruto is the next franchise to come to Fortnite. It is something people never asked for but they know they needed it. Just when I thought seeing Ryu and Chun-li use guns when they can use fireball is weird. Now we see Ninjas use guns. This New trailer shows Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi as the next characters to join this battle Royale Crossover. Weekly Shōnen Jump is hard to negotiate with when it comes to licences so kudos to Epic Games for making a deal like this possible. Capcom never dared to make a Capcom vs Shonen Jump Game because it was licensing nightmare. Not even Nintendo dared to do it with Smash.
From what I saw on this trailer, These Anime characters will maintain their 2d aesthetics. Rick Sanchez maintain the 2d looks when he joined Fortnite. Despite the difference in Art Style, they still fit in within the environment.
People who want everyone to keep the Fortnite Aesthetic will be disappointed. On the Bright side, we can see a character as serious as Uchiha Sasuke use guns to kill Banana people and dance on their corpses.

Their Final Season Shippuden era versions are used so there won’t be controversy because of the Season 1 version of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura as kids.

Back in the early 2000s, there is a free 2d fighting game software called Mugen where you can make every 2d fighting game character in existence fight each other. Fortnite felt like a 3d shooter version of it but with legal licenses involved. A Marvel vs. DC game will never happen but you can Make Marvel and DC characters shoot each other with guns in Fortnite.

NAMCO Bandai formally announced the newest iteration of the long-running “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja” franchise for North America and Europe just days after the original Japanese announcement. The game will be released in 2014 and is developed by CyberConnect2, who has developed all of Ultimate Ninja PS3-X360 games. The game will
