Electronic Arts announced Mirror’s Edge 2 earlier today during their E3 conference.
The game is being developed by DICE and will run on an unspecified game engine.
Mirror’s Edge 2 will put players in the shoes of Faith, the protagonist for the first installment, who is a message carrier in a dystopian city. The game will feature similar mechanics to the first installment including strategic running and combat controls.
Mirror’s Edge 2 will launch for PS4 and Xbox One at an undisclosed date.
