Ubisoft has announced not one, but two new Trials games which are coming in 2014. The first is Trials Fusion which is in development for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC which means an end to the Xbox exclusivity of the Trails series thus far. The second is Trials Frontier and is in development for mobile devices.
Both of the games appear to have the traditional Trials gameplay but it remains to be seen if the traditional Trials difficulty will be carried across to the new games. Ubisoft also stated that the two games will interact with each other in some way although exactly how remains to be seen.
This is not the first time developer RedLynx has developed for mobile as their game Motoheroz, which was very similar to trials, launched a few months ago and was quite good, hopefully they can build on that experience to create a truly amazing Trials game on mobile.
