Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2
Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 trailer
Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2 finally dropped its trailer, and it looks promising. Everything that happened in part one is now making sense.
The first part of this mini-series has a controversial run. Kevin Smith promised that this will be the finale He-man fans deserve. Fans waited for almost 40 years for this but Kevin Smith did some polarizing decisions. First is the underutilization of He-Man. Fans expected him to be the protagonist of the show. The title doesn’t have He-man though.
Prince Adam’s face time in the first part has been minimal and mostly flashback. Teela felt like the main protagonist because the story centered too much on her and Evil-Lyn. Teela becoming muscular also caused a lot of debates among fans. The demise of Fan-favorite characters like Orco and Sorceress also angered some netizens.
Fans were divided because of the ending of the 5th episode of the first half of this series. Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2 became so polarizing but negativity publicity is still publicity. People who hate watching contribute to ratings of shows. The show got successful enough that this second part got greenlighted. I will ignore all the negativities fans said because this second part has potential. He-man is finally back in the spotlight because Prince Adam survived. He-man is the central character again after letting Teela shine on the first part.
The New trailer has more likes than dislikes this time around. Kevin Smith is winning the people back, so I have he doesn’t screw this up. He took risk of getting hatred and bashing from fans, but now it’s time to redeem himself. The first part made He-man look weak. Now his interaction with the civilians makes him the hero, and leader fans grew up with again.
