Japanese gamer outlet 4gamer.net released a new interview with Capcom assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano, who had some details on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and when fans might expect it to come out next year. According to Ayano, the game is expected to release “in the second half of next year (2017).”
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was first announced earlier this month at the 2016 PlayStation Experience, and it would be a multi-platform release. Additionally, it was announced for a 2017 release. This news at least narrows things down a little bit. Sometime in the third or fourth quarter for 2017 makes a lot of sense for the game’s release.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite arrives in 2017. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Confirmed characters for the game include Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X, Ryu, and Morrigan.
