Mandy Rose got released by WWE day after she lost her NXT Women’s championship
Mandy Rose (Amanda Rose Saccomanno in real life) was fired just 24 hours after losing the NXT Women’s Championship. Knowing their long-term plans for her, this news comes as a surprise. She is the most successful alumna of her Tough Enough Season. Despite finishing second in that reality competition, Mandy’s career has been more successful than the winners’. WWE signed her to a five-year, $1 million contract, and she stayed with them for nearly ten years. She had highs and lows, but when she returned to NXT to revitalize her career, it flourished. While serving as the NXT Women’s Champion, she led the dominant Wrestling Stable Toxic Attraction for 413 days. Toxic Attraction is the most successful female group in WWE history because they won every belt in NXT simultaneously.
After she lost her NXT title fans are expecting her to be called up in the Main Roster and feud with champions like Bianca Belair and Ronda Rousey.
Mandy Rose title defenses
WWE does not allow their wrestlers to make money with third party platforms where they can earn. It is also a PG content show so they are now allowed to do Adult content. Back in the 90s WWE divas (What they call female wrestlers back in the day) can get title pushes if they pose for Playboy. That is a thing of the past because WWE is now a PG company because of their partnership with Mattel and various charities.Fan donation platforms are banned for WWE Superstars even if they are wholesome and clean. Mandy Rose Crossed the line because she uploaded risque content in Brandcamp, A paid social network similar to Onlyfans.
WWE’s Rival AEW allows their wrestlers to have Cameo accounts, Twitch account and even Onlyfans! She has always been a good employee for her years as WWE Superstar but they fired her for offense. Meanwhile The current Tag team Double Champions, The Usos are still employed despite of multiple DUIs because they are Cousins of Dwayne Johnson. Matt Riddle is only suspended after failing two drug test. A wrestler who I will not name because I do not want to be sued have sexual harassment accusations but still employed. There seem to be double standards between men and women.
