The Last Guardian Rumored for Re-Reveal at E3
You all know the game titles, the ones that we all want, but for some reason they’ve taken forever to get made for some reason: Kingdom Hearts 3, Mario Galaxy 3, Fallout 4 (yes, that just got announced, but we had to wait a while), and the list goes on.
Easily, a title that has made that list year in and year out is The Last Guardian, a game from the creators of fan beloved games Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Despite being revealed in 2009, the game has had nothing but delays and setbacks. Numerous times it’s been claimed to be cancelled or shelved, only for someone to say it wasn’t, and that makes fans go nuts again.
Well now, according to The Guardian (the newspaper), The Last Guardian will be shown at E3, and the game will receive official re-reveal. The report claims to have it “on very good authority that this will be the year that Team Ico finally presents its follow-up to much loved classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.”
This seems legit and very intriguing to say the least, but will it happen? People have been duped before, and this game has gone through so much turmoil, you have to wonder if we do see it at E3 will it actually get released? Questions abound, and I don’t think we’ll get concrete answers until the game is literally in our hands.
