Just Cause 3: New Video Diary Showcases Destruction
Avalanche Studios has released a new developer video diary for the highly anticipated third installment of the action adventure video game franchise, Just Cause. You can check out the Just Cause 3 Dev Diary: Destruction video in the player below.
The Just Cause franchise is known for its unique approach to mayhem and destruction for players. For Just Cause 3, Avalanche is promising a game that is better and more explosive than ever before as the franchise goes next-gen. According to Lead Mission Designer Colin Alteveer, “There’s a million ways to play the game in terms of blowing stuff up.” He added, “Everything’s a weapon. There’s also weapons.” What is unique about the Just Cause game is that it offers a free open world and style similar to the Grand Theft Auto series, but it is more like giving you the power of one of the most high-octane action movies ever. In this game, it appears the developers have made the environments more destructible and interactive. In addition, they had no problem with leaving reality behind in order to achieve the game’s freedom of movement, destruction and wanton mayhem.
Just Cause 3 is due out later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
