There may not be a lot of movie news coming out of SDCC this year…but there will be plenty of comics! The likes of Disney and Universal panels will be replaced by panels showcasing what the convention was meant to be about in the first place. Comics publisher IDW has a lot planned, and they laid it all out for us today.
IDW writers, editors and staff will be discussinf their Star Trek line, and future comics they have in store for the brand, on Thursday, July 20 at 12 PM. All things TMNT will be discussed in the Turtlemania panel on Saturday at 11 AM. Sonic The Hedgehog comics will have a panel on Sunday at 10 AM, spotlighting “the 900th adventure” — we’re not sure what that means or what kind of weird math they’re using to get that figure. The panel for IDW as a whole will be held on Friday, July 21 at 1:30.
