Halo 5: Guardians Needs 60 GB To Install

While it’s not uncommon for games to take up huge amounts of storage pace when they are installed on next generation consoles, they usually don’t come anywhere near the size that Halo 5: Guardians will reportedly be. According to images found off the official box art by NeoGAF users the title will require 60 GB of hard drive space to be installed, meaning you may have to delete some content from your Xbox One hard drive if you want to play the highly anticipated game.

The official Xbox store does list the game at 46.19 GB, which suggests that the extra space may be for a day-one patch to fix any issues or add extra content to Halo 5 that wasn’t included on the disc. Of course, it could also mean that the box art is fake, but with the game having recently gone gold it seems likely that some copies will have leaked.

Halo 5: Guardians is due to launch worldwide on October 27 exclusively for the Xbox One.
