Square Enix will be releasing the anticipated Windows Edition of Final Fantasy XV soon. High profile releases like this usually contain preorder bonuses these days. What’s Square offering for this one?
The discouraging news is that Square’s giving away different freebies depending on where you preorder this game. Steam, Origin and the Microsoft Store are all getting separate preorder bonuses. No one will ever possess them all, for even if somebody out there is rich enough to preorder three digital copies of the same game, they wouldn’t bother with Origin.
Preorder through Microsoft Store and you get this:
- The bonus “FFXV Powerup Pack,” containing “Dodanuki,” a sleek sword created by a bladesmith, reducing enemy defense with each slash. The pack also includes 10 phoenix downs and 10 elixirs.
Preorder through STEAM and you’ll get these:
- The bonus “FFXV Fashion Collection,” containing a selection of T-shirts for Noctis to wear.
- EPISODE GLADIOLUS Tee enhances strength
- EPISODE PROMPTO Tee accelerates HP recovery rate
- EPISODE IGNIS Tee increases critical hit rate
- COMRADES Tee increases maximum HP
Finally, the minority who choose to preorder through Origin will receive this:
- The bonus “FFXV Decal Selection,” containing an array of colorful decals for the Regalia car celebrating Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis, along with the men and women of the Kingsglaive.
You have a fair amount of time to make your decision — Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition doesn’t come out until March 6.
