Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today in a press release that the PC reboot, Gauntlet, will be launching later than originally intended.
Gauntlet was originally intended to be released on September 3rd this year, but is now set to release on September 23rd, only a few weeks later. The only reason given for the delay is to “fine-tune details in order to bring gamers an even more robust multiplayer experience.”
As a thank you for those who already pre-ordered Gauntlet, Warner Bros. is including a special bonus item, The Spawn of Kerthrull, a robe for the wizard that appears to be made out of deceased imps.
Along with the news of the launch delay, Arrowhead Games, developers of Gauntlet, released an in-depth gameplay and walkthrough video of the game which you can watch above. Warner Bros. also confirmed that Gauntlet will be playable at PAX Prime this weekend.
Be sure to check out Gauntlet on Steam, now launching September 23rd!
